第17話：祭りの後

◇祭りの後
ひなたとメトリは新しいAIことばを手に入れた。
AIことばが体に馴染むには通常ある程度時間を要する。
残るAIことばは、空中に光って浮かんでいる‘透過’。
宇宙船にあるAIことば保存用装置の到着を待つ。
保存用装置は大きめな冷蔵庫ほどあり、結構な大きさだ。
「みなの者、よく聞くのじゃ」
黄色マントの族長がコロシアムのコロポロの民に語り出す。
「我々は気づいていた。みなもそうじゃ」
「かつて我々のために授かった季節を調整する技術は、初めはとても大きな恩恵をこの土地に与えてくれた。しかし、長い年月が過ぎ、結果的にこの土地が荒れ、民が争うことになった」
それまで“まっしろな虎”をやっつけたことで喜んでいたコロポロの民が、静かに族長の言葉を聞き始める。
「色々ないさかいはあったが、これからはこの先を見ていくのじゃ」
青色マントの女族長も加わる。
「いいか、皆の者。今日この時をもって、“季節祭り”は終わりじゃ！！」
赤色マントの族長が大声で叫ぶ。
コロシアムは一度シーンとなった。
みなが互いを見つめ合う。
そして、どこからともなく音が聞こえ始める。
「トーン、ポンポン。トーン、ポンポン。トーン、ポンポン・・・」
そのコロ笛の音は次第に大きくなっていき、遂にはコロシアム中から響いてくる。
そしてまた、どこからともなく歓声が聞こえ始める。
「うぉーーー！うぉーーー！」
コロポロの民の中には涙を流しながら喜ぶ者も少なくない。
「オレたちが知らない所で、こいつらけっこう争ってたんだろうな・・・」
キールがその光景を見ながら小さくつぶやく。

Episode 17：After the festival
◇After the festival
Hinata and Metri got a new AI word.
It usually takes some time for the AI word to adapt to the body.
The remaining AI word is ‘permeation’ floating in the air.
We waits for the arrival of the AI words storage device on the spacecraft.
The storage device is as large as a large refrigerator.
“Everyone, listen carefully.”
The chief of the yellow cloak speaks to the people of Kolopolo in the coliseum.
“We were aware. Everyone is so.”
“The technique of adjusting seasons that we had given for us at the beginning gave us a great benefit to this land, but after a long period of years, this land has become rough and people has been fighting for it.”
The people of Kolopolo, who were delighted by the end of the ‘pure white tiger’, begin to listen to the chief’s words quietly.
“There were a lot of troubles with us, but from now on we will look ahead.”
The female chief of the blue cloak also joins.
“Listen, everyone. With this time today, ‘the festival of the seasons’ is over!!
The chief of the red cloak shouts out loud.
The coliseum became quiet once.
Everyone looks at each other.
And the sound starts from nowhere.
“Tone, pom pom. Tone, pom pom. Tone, pom pom…”
The sound of the roar rose gradually, and it finally came from all over the coliseum.
And we begin to hear cheers from nowhere.
“Wow! Wow! Wow!”
Among the people of Kolopolo, there are many who rejoice with tears.
“Well, we don’t know everything but…I assume they’ve fought quite a lot.”
Keel says in a small voice while watching the scene.
