第15話：まっしろな虎とレバー

◇まっしろな虎とレバー
僕たちがAIことばの獲得に夢中になっているとき、３族長は静かに動いていた。
弱って抵抗しなくなった“まっしろな虎”に近寄り、そのレバーを“７”に動かす。
「まさか、わしがレバーを動かせる程に弱るとわな」
黄色のマントの族長が話す。
「これで約束は果たした。あとは季節の変動を待つのみじゃ。お互いの住環境を守る約束を忘れるな」
青いマントの族長が話す。
「分かっておるわ」
赤いマントの族長が答える。
「しかし、“100獣”の1つ“まっしろな虎”をこうも簡単にやっつけるとはな」
「あやつも喜んでおるかもしれんのぉ」
「じいちゃん、何の話をしてるの？」
族長の側にはタンタンがいた。僕らがAIことばの獲得に夢中になっている最中、タンタンはコロシアム内に移動していた。タンタンは黄色マントの族長の孫である。
「あぁ、タンタン。昔の天才の話じゃ」
「天才!?」
「あぁ、そうじゃ。名は“らせん”。あの“まっしろな虎”はその天才のぺットなのじゃ」
「ぺット!?」
黄色い族長が語ったことは世間にはあまり知られていない。“らせん”とは、AIことばを創った天才集団100人のメンバーの1人だ。
その天才集団は“The100”と呼ばれ、宇宙中にその名をとどろかせている。
しかし、その100名のメンバーの詳細な情報は知られていないのが現状だ。
“The100”の内の2名が、ひなたの父親と母親ということもごく一部の人たちにしか知られていない。
「でもさ、じいちゃん。レバーを“７”にして何か意味あるの？」
タンタンが素朴な質問をする。
「あぁ。天才の考えることは分からんよ」
黄色のマントの族長が答える。
「あれはこの惑星コロポロの地軸の角度を調節するレバーだそうだ。昔やつが楽しそうに話してくれたわ。ほっほっほっ」
黄色のマントの族長が昔を思い出したかのように、楽しそうに笑う。
「ちじく？うーん、よく分かんない」
タンタンが答える。
「そりゃ、そうじゃ。ワシでもよく分からん。まぁ、簡単に言えば、地軸とはコマの軸みたいなもんじゃ。お前も昔よくコマで遊んだじゃろ」
「うん、遊んだ。コロの木のコマで友達とよく遊んだよ」
「そうじゃろ、そうじゃろ」
「やつが言うには、惑星は地軸の角度によって環境が大きく変化するのだそうじゃ。あの虎の頭の映像はこの惑星コロポロの今の姿と話しておったぞ。ほっほっほっ」
黄色のマントの族長は嬉しそうだ。
「ふーん、そうなんだ。まぁでもみんなが仲良くできるなら、おいらそれがいい。ほっほっほっ」
タンタンも黄色のマントの族長の真似をして同じように笑う。
「んっ？確かに何かよく見るとさっきよりも、丸いのが傾いて来てるような気がする」
タンタンが不思議そうに虎の頭上のホログラムを見つめながら話す。
「そうか。そうじゃろ。ほっほっほっ」
黄色のマントの族長が嬉しそうに答える。
「ほっほっほっ」
負けじとタンタンも大きく笑う。
2人の笑い声が辺りに響く。

Episode 15：The pure white tiger and the lever
◇The pure white tiger and the lever
When we were crazy about acquiring AI words, the tribal chiefs were moving quietly.
They approach the “pure white tiger” that has weakened and no longer resists, and moved its lever to “7”.
“No way, I can’t believe I can move this lever.”
The chief of the yellow cloak speaks.
“We made a deal. All we have to do is wait for the change of the season. Do not forget the promise to protect each other’s living environment.”
The chief of the blue cloak speaks.
“I know it.”
The chief of the red cloak answers.
“But I can’t believe he beated one of the ‘100 beasts’ so easily.”
“He may be pleased”
“Grandpa, what are you talking about?”
There was Tintin by him. While we were fascinated with acquiring AI words, Tintin was moving into the Coliseum. Tintin is the grandson of the chief of the yellow cloak.
“Yeah, Tintin. It’s a story of a genius.”
“Genius!?”
“Oh, yes. The name is “Rasen”. That ‘pure white tiger’ is a pet of the genius.”
“A pet!?”
What the yellow chief spoke is not well known in the world. Rasen is one of the 100 members of the genius group who created the AI words.
The genius group is called “The 100” and has made its name in the universe.
However, the detailed information of the 100 members is not currently well known.
The fact that two of “The 100” are the father and mother of Hinata is only known to a few people.
“So, grandpa. What does it mean to make the lever ‘7’?”
Tintin asks a simple question.
“Oh, I don’t know what a genius thinks.”
The chief of the yellow cloak answers.
“That’s the lever that adjusts the angle of the planet’s axis of Kolopolo. Once my old friend told me that joyfully. Ho ho ho”
The chief of the yellow cloak laughs happily as if he remembered the old days.
“Axis? Hmm, I don’t know…”
Tintin answers.
“Oh, yeah. Even I don’t understand it. What he said is like this. Well, in a nutshell, the planet’s axis is like the axis of a top. You used to play with a top, right?”
“Yeah, I played. I used to play with my friends on a top of Kolo wood.”
“Yeah, that’s right.”
“He said a planet changes its environment greatly depending on the angle of the planet’s axis. The image of the head of that tiger is the present figure of this planet Kolopolo.”
He looks happy.
“Hmm, yes. Well, if everyone can get along well, that’s fine to me. Ho ho ho”
Tintin imitates the chief and laughs in the same way.
“Well, I feel like the sphere seems to be leaning more than before.”
Tintin wonders and speaks while staring at the hologram above the tiger’s head.
“Yes, yes. Well. Ho ho ho.”
The chief of the yellow cloak responds with joy.
“Ho ho ho.”
Tintin also laughs a lot.
Laughter of two people resonates around.
